COLORADO RIVER TUBING
Tubing can turn any river/creek that’s deep enough to accomodate swimming into your very own wilderness waterpark. Especially during the summer, the cool water that runs through any of Colorado’s rivers and creeks (mainly due to snowmelt runoff) provides the absolute best way to beat the heat.
Colorado Culture Approved: Boulder Creek. This is a favorite summer pastime in the People’s Republic. The best parts of the creek are adjacent to a city park that has grills and picnic tables available, make a day of it!
Friendly Travel Tips: Best advice however, wear a life jacket, and bring a pair of shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. These aren’t swimming pools or lazy rivers at the actual waterpark, there are rocks along the bottom of these waterways and some of them can be fairly sharp.
