COLORADO HOT SPRINGS
Ever jump off of a diving board or ride a waterslide into what amounts to a giant hot tub? If not, then a trip to one of Colorado’s many hot springs definitely needs to be added to your itinerary. The springs from which the town of Glenwood takes its name are the largest in the world and people have been flocking there for over 100 years for it's natural healing abilities.
Colorado Culture Approved: Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, CO or The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs. Iron Mountain Hot springs is just down the road from the aforementioned largest hot springs in the world and one our favorite places to go after a long day of adventuring. Better yet, make it a quick weekend trip out of Denver and hit up some of the world class hiking that surrounds the area.
Friendly Travel Tip: There are a bunch of great hot springs around Colorado, and lots of resources to find them. If you venture into the wilderness please remember to Leave No Trace. Some of our favorite spots have gotten overcrowded in recent years and some people aren't respecting the land.
