A Brief History:
Founded in early 2014 by a group of friends with a love for Colorado as well as a passion for music and the outdoors, our only original goal was to promote Colorado's culture in the best way we could think of, and ultimately help people, help people. As we grew over the first couple of years we watched Colorado's culture change and shift in a very short period of time. Population increases accompanied with an increase in annual tourist visits have brought major issues of sustainability to light over the past 2 years. As an event and media resource in Colorado we organically grew our online presence to over 25,000 followers in just under 3 years. But, with each follow and like that came we realized that we had an increased responsibility to sustain and cement Colorado's culture into the fabric of its future. With this underlying principle in mind, after working with some of the biggest names and companies in the music industry to promote nearly 700 local events and concerts over the past three years, we decided to alter our identity: in 2017 we went on a mission to offer services and develop products that will only help to preserve Colorado and its deep-rooted culture for future generations to enjoy.
What We're Doing Now:
Last year we were fortunate enough to work closely with the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) to help them create itineraries and identify volunteer opportunities which would help to increase awareness on issues of sustainability and hopefully circulate tourism across our great state instead of concentrating on already popular and overpopulated recreation areas. Throughout this process we realized that in the past even we were guilty of irresponsibly promoting our favorite places without a true understanding of the impact that it had on them. Once our time with the CTO ended we felt that our job was far from done, so we are continuing on our mission to learn, educate, and help local businesses thrive. One of the ways we're able to do this is with our digital coupon book that was built for Colorado called, The Culture Passport. Read more below.
The Culture Passport:
In August of 2017 we quietly released The Culture Passport. A digital coupon app that comes with an educational book filled with useful information on how to recreate responsibly in Colorado. This is the first step in our process of helping to bring outdoor education and respect for local businesses to the forefront of our future. With this endeavor, we hope that we can not only responsibly promote and help to cultivate sustainable tourism, but also establish a sense of unity between both longtime residents and the visitors who share this incredible space. If you have any interest in taking advantage of our free business listing and free coupon listing for any business that falls under one of the Activities we have listed on our site please Contact Now.
Who We've Worked With:
Our Commitment to Colorado:
We will no longer irresponsibly promote our natural spaces or events the way we used to, instead focusing our efforts on best practices for sustainability, and the best concerts, festivals, and local events that truly represent Colorado's culture. We will also selflessly promote the towns and businesses that make this place so incredible. We will constantly encourage you to explore Colorado on your own, and we'll do everything in our power to help educate you so that you can maximize the fun in every potential experience and minimize the negative impact you could have on the environment around you. We're here for you Colorado, now and forever!
